I know the only number that works is 2

a+b=ab
-b -b
_______
a=ab-b
a=b(a-1)
1. subtract b from both sides
2. factor b out of the right side of the equation
3. you get b(a-1)
4. your final answer is a=b(a-1) {you can never get a=b, but you can get a=b, and then something else, so that is your answer! good luck}

solving for b, b= a/ (a - 1)
If a =2, b=2, but if a=3, b= 3/2, if a=4, b=4/3, if a=5, b=5/4, etc.
So it isn't going to be true that a=b

a+b = ab
a = b(a-1)
b=a/(a-1)
The only integer value of b for which this is true is a = 2 and therefore b =2 also.
