Lockyer is one of the best NRL players in his generation so no. Also I couldn't imagine Hunt kicking 40-20s or field goals to win matches like Lockyer can

hunt is still young, did ne1 stop to think about lockyer when he first started playing?? he was at fullback, i never saw him pulling off ne of the stuff he's doing today, but yes he has always been consistent, always in the rite place at the rite time to scoop up a loose ball and score tries but NO ONE thort he would excel in the halves like he has so having said that, if Hunt continues to train under Lockyer he could be as good as him in some areas, better in others, so yes he could be as good but personally i dont think he is as good as every1 makes him out to be lol

Karmichael is the most over-rated player in the NRL. I have no idea why he is playing for QLD and Australia when there are players way better than him like bowen and slater

    two differnt players.

lockyer is very big on organisation, execution and consistency, even when he was at fullback. this is why brisbane have always been there abouts for the last 10 years.

hunt is more flashy with the odd creative play. you cant rely on the odd creative play to win a string of games. you rely on organisation, execution and consistency to win premierships.

hunt is much more uselful as a stong ballrunner than a half anyway.

I don't think so. They are two different type of players. One is brilliant most of the time while the other is only brilliant some of the time. -Broncos fan
