Tougher action on known offenders, we need to get rid of the absoluterly ridiculous Human Rights act and start treating the offenders as the guilty party not look at reasons why they shouild not be punished. This country really is getting an embarrassment to live i9n and this government will go down in history as the worst ever , changing this country into a dumping ground and moving us back fifty years.

That is really sad, my heart goes out to the family. I had a look and it was just on BBC news 24, I hope to God he is found safe and well. It don't matter what type of family he is from he is a child.

hi wacky,, what can we do except make our children prisoners in their own homes, and subject them to 24 hour supervision, there is no other option open to parents

the thing is we cannot think this will never happen to us as i bet the parents of all missing children thought the same thing.

its a wicked world we live in

I hadn't seen that story i hope hes found safe and well. I supose there is nothing you can do really , parents can't lock their children up . Trouble with these people that prey on children is ,it doesnt matter what the punishment is they still continue to re-offend .

Sorry to say that as soon as one innocent child is born another innocent child is starting to grow up in a sick world that is not nurturing enough and so the older one is learning how to cope incorrectly.

Try volunteering for the NSPCC to balance this.

Oh my goodness, i hope and pray he is safe and well, its about time the power in this country began to value human life as much as they do lining their pockets, then and only then can we start letting our children be children and not prisoners in their own homes through the parents fear.

Ultimately, the responsibility rests with the parents...a ten year old should be under constant supervision. Anyone who touches a child should face the severest consequences...no matter who they are...

Yeah it's very worrying. I am watching sky news and just hoping and preying that they find the poor little boy. I feel helpless also.
