Does the amount of download differ when we watch a streaming video or when we download it?

    This is really interesting.

    I understand yes, when streaming, you continously provide feedback to the server with the amount of data recieved and played. So some additional data would be send.

    Additionally since data is through TCP/IP, the data packet choose different paths, your system may have to perform multiple "assembly" operation to stream the video , complared to one time "assembly" if a file was downloaded

    the amount of speed needed for the download may differ but not the downloads'll differ....
