What's the most polite way to end a boring conversation?

Hmmm...polite, I don't know, but you could start laughing loudly at the wrong place, or just interupt a lot OR the ultimate turn off: just switch your attention to someone else entirely and start chatting to them...

Escaping for a loo break is prolly more effective and polite though...unless they follow you and continue yakking...

ask some friends gv u missed call then laugh and tell that person oh so nice conversation but so pitty i have to go becoz of urgent work. so sorry and let them go on and let him bored another persons instead of u.

Whenever Wonder is bored, I simply spit up a huge hairball.

That seems to turn some people off.

Somebody sprayed bleach in my face once and told me they, "thought it was water". By the time I came back from the eye wash station they were on their way to Disney World.

I always go with the direct approach...look them in the eye and say "Fu*k your boring"..walk away....

I give them 1 minute to do me, then I leave. 5 minutes is 4 minutes to long!

i hold my hands over my ears and go Lalalalalalalalalala , I cant hear you Lalalalalalalala .This seems to work , I get called an idiot at times but they still stomp off never to return

Glance at your watch and apologise as you have just remembered that you need to be somewhwhere urgently .

walk to the door, open it, ring the doorbell and say sorry i have to go someone is at the door
