Out of the 9 teams in the NBA Western Conference playoff race, who do you think will be the odd-man out?

An injured Nowitky and I would have to say the Mavericks are the favored to be odd man out.

However, GS has a brutal schedule the remainder of the season 10 of 15 of their remaining games are against the western contenders. Even if they go .500 in these games they will lose ground in the playoff standings.

Houston has a cake schedule but other than the streak they haven't done much all season and I don't see them getting their act together. Especially with no Yao.

Denver has to be consistent and stop losing to crappy teams.

I am going to go with Denver, Avery will have his squad win 9 of the last 14 to sneak in the 8th spot. I am just not sold that anyone will play defens on the Nuggets besides Marcus Camby.

its between golden state, denver and amazingly DALLAS. but i think denver dont have the defensive discipline to make the playoffs. they would be 4th in the eastern.!! but i think they will be outt. its really tough in the west. even lakers can drop to 8th with a bad run. lose 3 in a row and its a major possibility we dont make the playoffs
