It doesn't sound like you're being hacked or have been hacked. Did your computer get super slow before you noticed a change?

Over 80% of folks have a "zombie" on their computer and don't even know it... kinda scary. Also the comment about the color change in file names is absolutely correct.

Here's some sites you can check out and do online scans, in additon to the Symantec one listed above:

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

    http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/solutions/a...

    http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml

    Online security scanners:

    http://privacy.net/

    https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

    http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/free/cm/index4.ht...

Zone Labs (the last link) also has an excellent firewall program you can download for free. I use it in addition to my Windows firewall.

The LNK is nothing but Link i.e it's like a Shortcut.

Use CC cleaner to clean these stuffs as they only consme disk space.

    Use a good anti-virus also.

You can also try the Security Check from symantec.

These are probably just temporary files opened by commonly used applications. Possibly something to keep the settings of each application. When a files text turns blue it means its compressed (Black = Normal Green = Encrypted Blue= Compressed). I seriously doubt you are being hacked.

I recently had my home page hijacked, I googled it and I got some help, I downloaded HIJACKTHIS at http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/secu...

    followed this video tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQwwuZe92c0

Once the hijack runs copy and paste the file log here http://www.hijackthis.de/ and it will tell you which ones are the infected files, it worked great for me. I have Norton 2007 on my pc and it did not work as well as this did. Now I have installed Windows live care, free for 90 days and spybot. I sure hope you find what ever it is on you system it sucks to not know.

I would say you are. Try getting some virus scanning software. It soulds to me like a trojan, which can be easily removed with the right software. If you download files by p2p, that is a probable explanation for where it came from.
