Tv show lost?

OK, there is NO way to sum LOST up for someone. You have to have seen every episode or you'll miss things or be confused later on in the series. You can go to wikipedia and read what happens in each episode, but it just isn't the same. There are character back stories, and flash forwards for the ones who get off the island, and all kinds of twists...good luck.

Nobody really knows why they are on the island. That's the point of the show. A basic outline wouldn't do you much justice because there are a lot of small details that are extremely important many episodes later. I would just suggest that you watch through the entire first three seasons online, or buy the DVD's.

ha ha ha, its so funny watching people trying to explain the unexplainable, I always get a kick out of people trying to exlplain lost to others on yahoo answers, there are just to many twist and turns that it is hard to explain, that is why when we try to explain it we always end up saying " just go rent the dvd first season" because we leave so much out in the explaination that it really would not do you justice. when ever you have a t.v show that leaves you so Lost that you just can't fully explain it to another human being ... then you know you have a good show. trust me, asking us to explain lost is a loaded question, and once you rent the first season you will know why and will fully understand the difficulties of such a question. so if you want to understand lost.. then come aboard the island and see for yourself.. we will all be there waiting for you because we are all totally LOST!!!

HURRY!!! RUSH TO THE NEAREST MOVIE STORE AND RENT LOST SEASONS 1-3!!!

my theory:

do you remember how in the 1st season, charlie and claire were in the woods and the others took charlie and slit his throat andd hung him in a tree? and he "miraculously" survived...?

well my theory is that he didnt di cuz the island wasnt finished with him yet! like john locke wasnt paralyzed twice cuz he had work 2 do on the island. charlie finaly died cuz he fufilled his purpose. and mikayal. his purpose was 2 kill charlie so he didnt die when desmond shot him. and michael couldnt commit suicide cuz he still had work 2 do [go on the boat]

Ok here it is

-They crashed

-They've met "the others"

-Ben is an "other"

-Someone has come to find them

-These people who have found them only want Ben

-They think he has special powers

-Juliet is in love with Jack

-Kate has slept with Sawyer

-Lock is a creepy dude who wants to stay on the island

-Claire has a baby named Erin, he was born on the Island

-Two Chinese people (can spell their names) are expecting a child

-The island is known for not being able to have a woman give birth

-These two ned to get off the island

-A man knows where the Island is and wants to kill everyone off it and keep it for himself

-Michael (now Kevin Johnson) is on a ship trying to kill the man who wants the island

-Michael was on the island with his sun when Ben decided to let him off

-Ben is a leader, and knows much about the island

-Oceanic Six are : Kate, Jack, Hurley, Sied, Two Chinese People

-When Kate is at home, she has a baby with her, might be Sawyers, may be Claires

-Claire may have wanted Erin to have a better life

-Hurley is a fat dude who won the lottery and has mental issues

-Sied is a former torturer for the Iraques (i think)

-He now kills people for money

ok so like they have flash forwards (jack kate sayeed sun aaron and hurley) they are the oceanic 6 who made it off the island

the rest of the people we do not know what happens to them. they could die or stay on the island

there on an island becuase of a plane crash and they want to find ways to get off it but runs into alot of obsticles on the way

you should really watch it from season 1 then you will understand it and maybe like it

ok so they were on oceanic flight 815

and they crashed later u learn that its bcuz of a metal testing thingy on the island

they always have falshbacks so u no what the people were like b4

and now they have future ones so ya thats pretty much it

we still don't know the answers to that question of why are they there or what's going on. each show leaves you w/more answers than questions. i sugest you rent the 1st 3 seasons and get LOST yourself. it's too complicated to explain,but if you go to www.abc.com you can watch the show that gets you up to date. there's several episodes on there but the one synopses tells you which one to look at to get new viewers up to speed though.

well lost is the kinda of show where you need to see every second of it or you will be lost.. so go on to abc.com and you can see all 4 seasons for yourself.... unless you watch from the begininng you wont know whats going on!! :)
