Would I be able to get my Drivers lisence early?

I live in Florida and I REALLY need to get it early ..

My situation:

--------> Noone in my family (mom, sis, brother) can drive. My grandma is the only other person who lives in florida with us.Everyone else is in NY. My grandma lives a hour away and had polio when she was younger. So she can't drive us anywhere. It hurts her legs to drive for a long time.

-------> Everyone has doctor appointments and grocery shopping. well.. My little brother is autistic and is 8 yrs old.My mom has to take him to special doctors. The thing is... cabs cost alot of money and we have a limited amount of money.

--------> Is there any way to get my driver licence sooner than holding it for 12 months? It would save my mom money that we can use for food and stuff.

There is a 50.50 chance that you can get it early.

A judge can determine it many ways:

    1. You could get it if the judge agreed that it was convinet for everyone in your family

    BUT....

    2. Its for convienience. You've lasted this long without it, so some judges may just say that your only doing this for convienece and its not a thing of life or death with having your license early.

I can see why you need a drivers license early, but I really doubt that's possible. When I got my drivers license I was 15, and that's scary!! There is to much responsibility that comes with driving a vehicle.

I see your dilemma however I'm an advocate of making the minimum driving age 18 with drivers education.... so I hope not...sorry
