Adding WI-FI router to Comcast Cable?
I have a Motorola Surfboard router that they provided and I want to add wireless. How do I do it? Do I replace that router? What about addressing? Or do I connect a wireless router to the Motorola one?
The Model Number is SB5101. Thanks for all your help.

Depending on the model, the Surfboard may or may not be a router as well as a modem. (Check the IP address of the computer connected to it - if it starts with 10, 172 or 192, the modem is also a router.)
If the modem isn't a router, just follow the router's installation instructions.
If the modem is a router, connect the modem to a *LAN* jack on the router (one of the jacks computers get connected to) and disable its DHCP server (you'll have to connect to it with your browser and look for the option on one of its pages). You should only have one device translating addresses - modem or router, not both.

The Motorola Surfboard is not a router, that's your modem. You need to buy a wireless router and connect it to the modem. Addressing is usually automatic unless you want to customize the settings on your router.
