Fondant Question????

Ok I am making a cake and using fondant to decorate it....my question is how do I get the shapes of like flowers to stick to other fondant. Like if I cover the cake with fondant and than cut shapes out how do I get fondant to bine to fondant any help please......perferably people that use this stuff

    You can mix it with water

    You can also use toothpicks for 3-d flowers. For flat ones, you can wet the fondant that's on the cake, and stick the flower to the wet spot.

    as for what i seen on the food network, dont they use chocolate or icing as a glue
