Democracy is based upon informed citizenry. Those here who say they will not watch such an excellent program argue for a kind of military dictatorship: ignorance that favors blind obedience.

The program was very thorough and used alot of video of the major players and interviews of them. Everything in the program is verifiable.

I was shocked at how George Tenet, the former director of the CIA, was so much a willing participant in the great WMD lie. (Wasn't he advising Hillary on her vote for the war?)

I was amazed at how the entire Army leadership in Iraq resigned on Bush before a year was out, and how he found a 1-star general to take the lead. I was not so amazed that this man didn't have the experience to resist Rumsfeld's call for torture, and stated his regrets openly.

I was amazed at how "seat-of-the-pants" the whole operation was from the start, and remains today. Reactive. And how the decision was made to disband the Iraqi Army, turning them out into the streets as potential insurgents.

I was amazed at how Bush paid off our main enemy with 33 Million Dollars after surrounding him in his Mosque after he taunted us. Did not get that one. That will buy a lot of car bombs and Sams. I think the seven month truce is now up. Will he pay another $33,000,000? Or will it be more?

Actually I thought it was interesting how it's called Bush's war but was more about Rumsfeld.

The entire program was about the infighting and the goals and they barely mention Bush until the end when they took a few jabs at him.

I have to admit, it was not as *** backwards as i know PBS is capable of making things, particularly when it has to do with Bush. I did find it interesting however, even if I disagreed with some of the conclusions.

It was a marvelous program....if true. My feelings toward Cheney and Rumsfeld were never very good but now I hate them with a passion. These two egomaniacs (and all of the others including the president) ruined America and killed many young men and women. For what? Poor Powel. He got the Washington shaft from all of Bush's clan including Bush himself. What a motlee crew!

"Bush's War" doesn't make sense to me, attacking another Nation under false pretences is not my idea of patriotism, more like a bully. I have very strong feelings that this Iraqi war will turn out to be like Vietnam or worse.

I did not see the mentioned special. I perhaps would have the same reaction as I would for those who called World War 2 "Roosevelts War".

It's a start on exposing these monkeys we call an administration. I hope they keep publishing the crimes and the prosecution moves forward. The most damning was the documentation of Rumsfeld's torture orders.
