I have been listening to environmentalists screaming that “These are the highest temperatures ever!” for years now. And yet here is archeological proof that the glaciers in the Swiss Alps have grown and receded continuously for thousands of years (well millions really, but let’s go by the numbers given in this article shall we?).

So how many coal burning plants and cars were around in 3000 b.c. that contributed to the melting of the glaciers that allowed the person, who dropped these artifacts, to cross the mountains on clear paths?

So it was warmer 5000+ YEARS AGO? Wait I thought only Bush and the evil industrial world caused climate change? Were they even around back then?

And did anyone else note the reporter had to throw in a little warning about glacial melting too scare the enviro-kiddies after pointing out that it has happened before?

So let’s recap, the glaciers will recede and more sites would be discovered showing the ice had receded before, but we better be careful because the ice is receding…

If there is all this proof that “Global Climate Change” is dooming us all, why does the theory keep falling flat on its face when exposed to historical, archaeological, and geological scrutiny?

Couple of interesting stories coming out of Wisconsin.

It seems a pledge delegate Debra Bartoshevich, who was publicly upset about Clinton’s loss and about being forced to support Obama, openly announced that she would Vote for McCain. Explaining that her frustration with how Clinton was treated by her party and that she does not trust Obama or his inexperience, was the root of her displeasure.

Well, now it seems Disagreement equals Banishment in the DNC.

So if it is part of Obama's "Family legend" then is it possible Obama is a liar? or his uncle is a fraud? Or does it mean his uncle was in the Red Army, not to US (Which again would make Obama a liar since he aid he fought for the US)?

In the last week or two there has been outrage from Obama and followers over a comment about appeasement from 70 years ago. And now people are ticked about a comment on a political assassination 40 years ago...

What gives?

I know Obama and his followers believe the sun rises and sets at his command, but seriously... Does every event in history actually relate to him?

I see the same thing when discussing "Global warming", I mention the countless severe and dramatic climatic changes prior to the industrial revolution, or that Al Gore is actually profiting off the hysteria and SOME liberals act like I just took some one's puppy and stuck it in a deep fat fryer.

So what gives? Why be afraid of historical facts?

By the way, please note I said "SOME", I know SOME out there fail to notice the word and accuse me and others of making blanket statements.

Chavez has become more and more aggressive as of late, there have been rumblings of conflict between Venezuela and it's neighbors since Chavez took office.

Now that Colombia finally managed to take out a leader of FARC (a mission in to Ecuador that had the permission of the Ecuadorian government) Chavez has started making threats and moving forces to the border.

So since far left Chavez is protecting the far left FARC, will the far left in the US try to protect Chavez if he invades a democratic and free nation?

And will the far left in the US attack Bush for protecting a long time ally and democraticaly elected government?

Today is the 63rd anniversary of the invasion of Iwo Jima.

For 36 days the marines fought for control over a pork chop shaped rock in the middle of the Pacific, losing 6825 marines in the process.

The sacrifice made by the Marines helped save the lives of 2400 bomber crews (approx. 27000 men) who had to make emergency landings on the island and helped dramatically shorten the war over all.

On a day like today does it upset you that men like this and there decedents get slapped in the face by the Berkley city council and Code pink?

How do you think Code pink and Berkley will commemorate this day?

I thought the far left said it was actually being patriotic by opposing the Marines and the government. These two guys seem to be relishing the fact they are committing "treason" (granted, whether it is or not, is a mater of opinion).

I know the far left wants to be seen as "Protectors the public interest". But if they can't even handle bad mouthing the marines for more than a week without starting to reconsider and starting to crumble under public pressure, how can anyone take them seriously?
