*Eazy E Appreciation Thread ... Sept. 7, 1963 - March 26, 1995*?

Question

Thread to honor the late legendary rapper Eazy E who died from complications of the HIV/AIDS virus on this day 13 years ago.  Of course made his mark wit N.W.A., as well as having several albums afterwards, the charamastic artist is often referred to as the Godfather of Gangsta Rap, serving as an influence for rappers to come on in later years (mainly The Game).  

You can post up any songs by him or NWA, or just comment with any thoughts you had about him.  Remember, it an "Appreciation" Thread, not a diss thread.

The way he went out is almost as big of a shame as being gunned down, because the sickness is still prevalent today and kills thousands of undeserving individuals every year...

I remember walking into my girls house and her mom saying she had seen something on the TV about a rapper having AIDS.
I thought she might have been mistaken and confused two different news items so I asked who.
When she said "Easy Eric or something" I knew who she was talking about and I was shocked.
I turned on the TV just in time to catch Eazy's attorney reading that statement.

A sad day in Hip Hop, indeed.

I remember hearing the news of his death on MTV.  Kurt Loder made the report.  It's sad that he died of the AIDS virus, and it's sad that many of us in our community are succumbing to it.  That is a lesson that no matter how much fame you have, you still get AIDS.


But anyway RIP to Eazy E.
