Depends on how it is spelled.
If the spelling is incorrect due to a typo then its obvious. Or if you truly know the spelling of the word.
some words are spelled differently in various countries and differ with the time period.
e.g 'color' is American, 'colour' is UK/Australian
And linguists have always been arguing about how words should be spelled, but meh, who cares?
if a word is misspelled in a dictionary you would never pick it up since we won't know or even suspect that its misspelled in the first place.

I heard that one of the big Dictionary publishers offers a reward if you find a word spelled incorrectly in their dictionary...
That's what I was told at school, could be urban myth?

if you get yourself 2 or three unabridged dictionaries and compare every word, you won't find any words spelled any different than the other. smileyp: ebonics will never be the way of the world and neither will text messaging. ya feelin me,dog. if our political figures start speaking and typing that way then I'm outta here.

Try to search that word on web dictionary....www.merriam-webster.com is a very good English language dictionary to search words..
