Does the PSP handheld unit have limits when surfing the web or is it unlimited likeApple's Iphone?
In other words, what can't you do internet wise on your PSP? I know I need to be within wifi range but what about surfing the web... Can you goto Youtube.com and watch videos? How about ebay and place a bid? How about going to Amazon to listen to music...
With the NEW psp firmware 2.0 upgrade, can you goto Youtube.com or ebay.com and etc now..

i would hardly say the iphone has unlimited internet capabilities. .. but thats not really the subject
no, the psp cannot visit many sites.
#1. depending on what model you have, you are limited to less then 30-20mb of memory
#2. the psp only supports 802.11b so its very slow
#3. the psp only supports a flash6 video player, so no youtube will work.
#4. you cannot stream music on the psp
#5. yes, you can ebay with it
if the 2.0 firmware for you is NEW, then you may want to consider downgrading to 1.50 and updating to a custom firmware. the last firmware update released by sony was 3.93.
2.0 is the second firmware sony released for the north american version.

not sure about ebay on the psp. but i know that u cannot watch many internet videos because the psp does not support the latest flash player. and the same goes for amazon music. plus typing on the psp is extremely frustrating and difficult and this limits your internet capabilities.
also the psp only has a 2mb internet cache so u cant look at too many big pictures and flash games in one session
