How do you feel about Jericho being cancelled?

I am so mad at CBS.They didn't even give Jericho a chance to succeed with it's crap time slot and non publicity of show.
I also thought last night's final show was a joke....mostly because of the commercial breaks. They were coming at about 5 minute intervals and every other commercial was about CSI upcoming shows. If CBS had marketed Jericho as much as they do CSI the show never would have been cancelled.
I did hear SCi Fi was considering taking on the show but was unsure due to high production costs.
Let's all hope Jericho lives on.

I don't know why they can't let us have a few shows that make us think Jericho is one of those shows. Corruption of the government happens all the time I love seeing the small town of Jericho stand up and fight it. They also give us the heartbreak of Bonnie and Dad Green's death along with the love story of Stanley and Mimi. I am insulted at its cancellation they must think all we want to see is people rolling around in bed with someone else's partner every week and being nasty trying to tear each other down. The strength and character of the people of Jericho working together to save their town is something the TV executives won't allow us an hour a week to enjoy shame on them.

I'm disappointed. I didn't watch it originally, but friends persuaded me to give it a try. I just finished season 1 on DVD and really liked it. It started out slow, which I think is what killed it, but it picked up and the second half of the season was great. While it was great of CBS to renew it, they deliberately gave it a bad time slot. I wish they'd made more of an effort. Rumor has it that the Sci-Fi Channel may be interested in picking it up, which would be good. Of course, they don't have much of a budget, so maybe it's best to let the show go out on a high note.

It doesn't surprise me. All that matters in Hollywood is money money money. In television's case ratings and viewers.
