best oil for a '00 yamaha ttr125 ?

im gonna change the oil on my ttr125 for summer use, what is your reccommendation for the best oil/weight to use in warmer weather? and, how often do you change your oil on your dirt bike?

yep its a 4 stroke dirt bike.. no milage counter :P

motorcycle or 4 stroke oil was a given :)

    if it is a 4 stroke engine i would use a 10w 40 MOTORCYCLE OIL during the summer months, do not use conventional car oil because it breaks down faster. synthetic is always best for motorcycles. Depending on how often you use your bike, i like to change my oil every 2 or 3 months.

    15w40 half synth works nicely, change it every 3000 miles or so!!!!!
