What program can i use for free to see my freinds computer through my computer?

If you are using Windows there is always Windows Netmeeting built in. You can watch and control your friends computer with this as long as they give their permission. If you have Vista it is called Windows Meeting Space.

Windows xp has 'remote assistance' built in that will do that. Can read about it on the net. Theres also a program called winvnc that would work also. Please note that routers or firewalls on either side of the connection would stop these programs from working correctly.

Install WinVNC on both computers and on hers make sure that you open the correct firewall port to allow connections.

You can use a program called logmein. They offer a free trial.

I have used it and works very well.

I know there are other programs called PCAnywhere and gotomypc.com that do the same thing.

You can use VNC to do this. She would have to install VNC server on her machine, and then you would connect with the VNC client.
