I would tell them something that only they would understand or a line from a movie that we said waaaaaay too much eg.

If it were my friend Elise I'd say "Oh good God you've fallen down" because its our overused line from friends and a tradition everytime we watch Sweeney Todd.

If it were my friend Sam I would say the therendos from Shakespeares pheonix and the tourtise because in a play we did together he had to say that an I always remember saying it with him in our initial rehersals.
