What could be causing these symptoms?

I've been feeling extremely bloated and tired for about four months with the least severe symptoms during my period which has now gone from 7 days with the first 5 being moderate to heavy to 3-4 with the first 2 being light and the last 2 being almost nothing for most of the day for these four months. I've gained a bit of fat around my lower abdomen but nowhere else. Despite that layer of fat, my abdomen is pretty firm. I've had 3 UTIs in the past 6 months and 2 were pretty bad but eventually resolved without treatment. After I eat or drink I feel a lot more pressure in my abdomen than I used to. I've also had very tender breasts that are rather swollen. My activity level and diet have not changed until I changed jobs about a month ago and since then I've not been as active. I'm not on any medication. I don't have insurance for about another month but this has been driving me crazy. Any ideas?

Update:

It is most definitely not HIV. I've actually had a few other pregnancy-like symptoms that I didn't mention because I really don't think I'm pregnant--I took a pregnancy test after a month and it was negative and it would have happened the ONLY time my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex which was when I was on my period. Yes, I know it would be possible but I think it is unlikely. I think it is some sort of hormonal issue but I'm not sure what the cause is. As far as the bowel movements, I had some constipation on and off but nothing too unusual and no there has really been no change overall.

Update 2:

Thanks Cornball P, that is the answer I needed. I'm 5'9" and weigh 140lbs.

I don't mean to be graphic, but are you bowel movements getting harder? The reason why I ask is because it sounds to me that you may have PID (pelvic inflamatory disease), and you should probably see a gynocologist pretty quick. Planned Parenthood would be a cheap place to get checked out. Good luck to you.

I'd call a doctor right away and tell them you won't have insurance for another month. They may be willing to see you now and bill you once your insurance kicks in. And if they're not willing it may take a month to get an appointment anyway so you'd have insurance by then. If your symptoms get worse I'd just go to the ER. They can't turn you away...by law they must see you! Do you think you might be pregnant? It is possible to have some bleeding with a pregnancy. You only have one body so don't hesitate to get checked out.

I know your diet has not changed, but are you eating enough nutrients and balanced meals? The UTIs could be related to sexual activity behaviors or some other introduction of unsanitary contact. I would really suggest seeing a doctor as soon as possible. If your insurance does not start soon, schedule the appointment so you can jump in as soon as it kicks in. In the meantime, try cranberry juice to fight the UTIs.

It sounds like your pregnant. I have similar symptoms but had a negative pregnancy test reading. I read some where that you can be pregnant and have negative blood test and pregnancy test readings. Monitor your body and all your symptoms try to get a ultrasound done.

You may want to check in with the OB/GYN. It almost sounds like a pregnancy, healthy or otherwise; I don't know. I would definately check into it, in case it's something serious.

Go to the doctor! Get a pap test, and or check for ovarian cyst.
