White heels with black dress okay?

normally I would say no, but since it is a black and white themed event YES go for tthe white shoes.

but add some more white to the look. . .purse, bangle bracelets, etc.

Imo, this mostly depends on the style of the dress. If there are white accents on the dress, then by all means go forthe white heels. If the dress is all black, and you still want to go for some drama, you should probably have a white belt around your waist to balance it out a little.

just because the dinner is black and white themed doesnt mean you need to wear both colors. Personally i wouldnt wear white shoes with a black dress, and i wouldnt go with white accessories either, because it is black and white themed white accessories arent very classy. I would choose gold or silver accoessories and dont over do them.

You can wear ANY color heels with a black dress! If I were you, I'd go ahead and wear those white heels and maybe a matching white necklace, bracelet or earrings (not too many accesories, tho! Simple is sexy.)
