Did u like Enid Blyton's Secret Seven series?

I think it's awesome! She is a personal favourite with me. And let's say, her Secret Seven is a masterpiece for children. The club, the mystery, the clues, Susie's nuisance and all that thrill and drama; yet leading to a wonderful conclusion! Isn't it something to be swallowed???

I read the Secret Seven first of all along with the Famous Five series. I think Enid Blyton had genius in masses to be able to write it like that. I think my favourite parts were (and are) the way she so neatly tied everything up and made the villain the one person you would never think to suspect!

That's one of my favourite series, and what's more, Mum still reads them, too!

I used to LOVE Enid Blyton when I was a kid. Especially the Magic Faraway Tree, The Wishing Chair etc... And I loved the Secret Seven. I preferred the television series of the Famous Five.

I remember saying to my mother "I;ll never get sick of reading Enid Blyton, Mummy"

Nowdays I cant; stand her!!! haha. Well, the Famous Five and Secret Seven are good but the rest of it? Sheesh!

That said, I always encourage my little friends to read Enid Blyton as her books are excellent childrens' books.

i acutally preferred the famous five over the secret seven. i think having seven main characters crowded the book. i also loved her malory towers and st claire series as well as the faraway tree. they're those reads when you have nothing to do, but you just want to have fun reading, not like go insanely into it.

I used to love it when I was younger... now it's more irritating and preachy, but I guess I've grown out of it lol
