This stuff is delicious! You must definitely try it.
1. 3 avocados, diced
2. 1 cup Fresh Tomato Salsa or prepared salsa
3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
4. 1/4 teaspoon salt
1. Using a potato masher, mash diced avocados in a medium bowl, leaving them a little chunky. Add salsa, lemon juice and salt; stir to combine.

You know, sometimes a simple recipe is the best recipe.
When we were in Mexico, a fellow prepared our guacamole right at our table and I have been making it that way ever since.
1 avacado, mush with fork(or 2 knives is how they did it)
mince a clove of garlic into the avacado, salt and pepper to taste and squirt a bit of lime juice in it. Its done!
Its the healthiest recipe I've ever used - no mayo.
Bon apetit.

My extensive travels in Mexico have me come to the realization that most guacamole is just 3 ingredients. Avocado, citrus(usually the limon, a mixture of a lemon and a lime), and salt. I like to keep it that way but you can add to your taste. If it is just for dipping, I would add the tomato and red onion for texture. To make it a bit creamier, add 1 tbl of mayo. Please do not add any overpowering flavors such as garlic or cumin or chili. You will waste perfectly good avocadoes. The only variety that I sway away from this philosophy is a recent trip to Monterrey for Thanksgiving. I had the perfect mix of jalapeno with avocado to go with my Thanksgiving taco meal, but that is even pushing it, Use kosher salt if you have.

Guacamole is simply avocado, tomato and onion with the juice of a lemon or lime and chopped coriander, can't be simpler!
Some people like to add a chili to make it spicier, some like it chunky and some blended to a paste.

make sure the avocados are ripe but not too soft as they will probably have already started to discolour. Peel the avocados and de-stone. blend or roughly chop, depending on the texture you want. Immediately add lemon juice as the avocado will start to turn black.
Add finely diced onion, diced tomato and coriander. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Mix together and enjoy.

Yep.
You need avocados, fresh lemons, salt.
Optional: garlic, cumin powder, fresh chillies or powdered, smoked paprika.
Mash avocados, squeeze lemon juice and add salt. ?Mash till smooth.Taste. Add more lemon and/or salt if desired.
That's my basic recipe that I am always asked to bring to parties! It's embarrassingly simple.
Play with adding the optional ingredients. They all work too.
I usually add a bit of Tabasco sauce to mine.
