In my highschool, they have limited web access to certain sites?

They could block the proxy site also but so many of them its hard for people to keep up. A proxy site you can goto and enter the website like mysace that is blocked and the proxy website will do the work and display what it see,s thourgh there in my eyes unsecure cause your passing your password through a proxy website then into myspace so proxy website gets it first

ok, the proxy is the thing that will let you bypass the restriction...here's a good one:

a proxy just allows you to access the sites...(it is a website)

my best analogy for a proxy would be a drug dealer. You go to a proxy site(drug dealer) and they supply you with the site you want to access(drugs).

The school doesn't want its' students going to these sites on their computers as they are not education related! So! They are off limits and blocked............
