Looking to wed in/at Tybee Island. Please give any/all suggestions/comments (i.e. where to stay, wedding coordinating company, price, etc... as much as possible). Thx!

OMG! So Cool! I'm having my wedding in Tybee Island on July 24, 2008. I'm doing it all myself from out of town (Valdosta, GA), so I can't give you any info. on that. I just wanted to let you know that that is where I will be as well!!!!! Congrats!!

My pre-wedding party is on Tybee Island! The two families are meeting there for half a week and then my girlfriends are coming down for the second half (instead of a shower and bachelorette party). My sister is putting the party together, so I don't have a lot of detail, but I do know that there are lots of private homes available for rent on the island (ours is a mansion near the beach). Go to the Tybee Island tourist site and you'll find lots of information about what's available (I believe there's even a section there on weddings). If you're planning to get married that soon, you'll need to get on this so that rentals are still available.
