how much roughly would it cost?

how much would it cost to put 5 double sockets in a kitchen by an electrician uk only please kent area

    I am afraid you ncan only know by getting an electrician to have a look It might need a new circuit running from the mains or it might be a half day job there is no way of telling just don't go for any quote without someone looking at the job as it will be a guess .

    10 years ago it use to be about £30 a socket. If you allowed between £150 & £300 I think you would be close to the mark. A cheap white plastic double socket can cost as little as £3. An MK socket is nearer £7. But if you are looking at fitting stainless steel sockets you could be looking at about £30 a hit. So that could be £150 just for the sockets.

    its a how long is a piece of string question but if chased into the wall and made good this would take about a day plus materials so allow £300 plus VAT and make sure he,s Part p registered.

    about £25 per socket including parts +vat.hope this helps

    check with your local council trading standers to make sure they are nic registered.
