Bag worm and my ornamental evergreen?

Last year I had a TERRIBLE Bag WORM infestation on one of my large ornamental evergreens. It pretty much defoliated the whole darn thin before I Malathioned them and killed them. The branches are still pretty supply (not dried out). I was wondering what the prognosis for this tree might be?? It is now late March and I have not seen any new green appearing yet, but I am uncertain when evergreen shrubs/trees in N. Texas might start normally filling out...

Thanks!

just watch it for a while and if it doesnt want to sprng back by say the end of july then you have a lost cause. But you still have time to replant something new and gets its root system ready for winter.
