How to use router to access internet from other router?

Hello,

So basically I want to know if there is a way to connect to my friend's wireless internet using my wireless router.

Basically, he has a wireless router at his place, and I'll be downstairs on my computer, but I don't have a wireless card, so I was thinking I could use my old wireless router to access the signal and send it to my computer...?

If not it's ok but I was thinking it'd be cool to work and useful:P

Thanks!

Wes

in case you recognize the IP handle of your modem provided via you ISP then open the router's cyber web administration and look for the WAN IP of the router (no longer LAN IP) and ascertain it suits that of the ISP. If no longer, attempt to launch and refresh (or renew) the WAN IP using the internet administration. If its nevertheless no longer working. Disconnect the skill from the modem and router and turn the modem back on. Wait approximately 40 5 seonds then turn the router back on. ascertain the ethernet cable from the modem is linked to the WAN port of the router. Recheck the WAN IP of the router.
