How do you change your fantasy baseball team to a keeper league?

In Yahoo, after you decide how many keepers you want and select them for next year, you have to be careful in the free version. After you set the draft order, each team must pick their keepers first. This can get mixed up if someone does not pre-rank appropriately. I also exclude everyone else's keepers when preranking.

Also know that during the draft if you have someone in your que other than keepers, if time runs out, Yahoo will take the que player. So put your keepers in your que first or keep it clean.

All this can be avoided by upgrading to a plus league. The Commissioner has the ability to set the keepers for each team prior to the draft.

Keeper leagues are a lot of fun. Can also be a headache if you have players that don't pay attention or if you have a lot of turnover.

Advice - don't get too many keepers. 5-7 in a 12 team league is enough. Otherwise bottom teams can't rebound.

All you have to do is get 8 or so teams that pay around 20-30 dollars each to get in, and then you can have enough left over for a sizable prize for the winner. when you think about it, 20 to 30 bucks for an entire season of ball and the chance to win two or three times that shouldn't be a problem to sell to anyone else, or yourself
