Ford Focus ZX3 Turn Signal Not Working?

Question

So, my signal light starting blinking super fast so I said, ok, the signal light on the back left isn't working.  So I go to Auto Zone and get the right bulb and open up the light cover and change the bulb.  It still doesn't work.  I tried fiddling with the wires a bit to see if it'd start working and nada.  WTF.  Any ideas what the deal is?  I really don't want to bring it to the Ford garage and pay $65 for them to fix it?  Yikes.

Can you be really specific in your answer if you have an idea.

Fuses are good,  check the ground wire  it might be corrided,, also call the dealer with your vin # there have been several recalls on this vehicle  maybe this is one of them.. Possible a bad turn signal switch or a bad ground

Could be bad wires, Sometimes fiddling with them just isn't enough and you might have to get it looked at by a professional mechanic.

Check all your bulbs. If they're all good,  check fuses.
