East better than the WEST?

the West top 4 teams are 58-64 vs East ...and the East top 4 teams are 71-48 vs West ..and if you want to say top 8 in WEST is better actually its west top 8 vs east (119-117) and East top 8 is (126-108 vs west)...so why do people think West is better ? they beat each other :this gives them very close records and they feed off the bottom teams in both confrences....the fact is the EAST is better so why do people think west is?

Update:

the west is only over .500 cuz they beat each other....

Update 2:

the top 4 in the EAST dominates the next 4 in east..the west top 8 all beat each other to make em .500 plus.....

Update 3:

at seasons end West will have 9 teams 40+ wins east will have 7

Update 4:

what im saying is top 8 in EAST ARE BETTER THAN top 8 in WEST records vs each other prove it...the east bottom 7 teams ..suck.....

too many bottom feeders in the west, thats why they have better records

you can't just look at records and say who's better. you have to THINK why they get those records. hey, the wins have to come from somewhere, right? its not like they pull those wins from under their a$$es.

west teams just benefit more from having 4 of the 6 worst teams. that means 12-16 easy wins for the top teams in the west

If the top 18 team right now makes the play-off

there would be like 12 west teams

--the east tops have better records than the west tops because they face every east team 3 to 4 times and west teams 2 times

and the east have like 7 of the 10 worst teams in the Nba--

west is way batter than east

No, it is the top teams in the East that feed off the weaker game in their own conference. That is why there are only a few teams with really good records, and why the rest that make the playoffs have such crap records.

Think of it this way: had Miami made an impossible 15 or 20 game push after the All-Star break, they would have been in the playoff hunt in the Eastern Conference. I'm pretty sure they had 9 wins at the time.

so you're saying the further you are under .500 the better you are?

    nice math.

There have been like 8 teams in the west to have a 10+ game winning streak, the east has one team with a 10+ game winning streak. The east wins one loses one, or wins one, loses two or three, west wins wins wins loses wins wins wins loses. look at the streaks in the standings.

    O-v-E-R-A-L-L.

and also because in the eastern conference a team 10 games below .500 can make the playoffs

where as in the west, a team 20 games above .500 has a difficult time. changed your mind yet?

    Because ESPN says so.

The east has the best 2 teams in the league. The NBA finals will be decided in the east.

    East- Boston, Detroit, uh...that's it.

West- SA, HOU, PHO, NO, UTAH, LAL, DAL, DEN, GS, and if Odden was playing, I guarantee Portland would be in the mix as well.

    East is weak!

Yea.... are you an idiot? Below .500 teams in the east are in the playoffs. Team who are on pace to win 50 games aren't even in the playoff race. Get you shiet straight dumbass
