Pedigree Dog Food?

Did you know that you can participate in the Pedigree Adoption Drive even if you don't buy Pedigree Dog Food for your dog?

You can make a financial donation to the adoption drive that is tax deductible.

Or

You can purchase a 22 lb bag of dog food ($10.00) for the animal shelter of your choice and Pedigree will match your donation. So if you purchase 2 bags for $20.00 -- the shelter of your choice gets 4 bags to help feed shelter dogs.

My dogs are shelter dogs, so I bought 2 bags for the shelter where my dogs were adopted.

I just thought it was a really cool and easy way to help shelter dogs in your area and wanted to pass it on. They don't tell you about this part of the program in the tv ads.

This is a GREAT way to help the Animals and it being tax deductible is perfect. You donate to a good cause AND keep the government from taxing you to death. Love the info thanks for passing it on.

That's great to know that you don't have to buy their food to help out. I personally would never buy that food since it is filled with unnessesary and cheap ingredients like yellow corn, gluten, and by-products - basically fillers as opposed to nutrition. There are other ways to help out adoption organizations. Petco and Petsmart are always taking donations to their local charities to help with homeless pets as well as any no-kill shelters in your area like the local SPCA. You can also adopt - that really is the best thing you could do. My husband and I adopted our Cairn mix from the SPCA and it was the best decision we've ever made. She is our joy.

It's better to donate a mediocre kibble than donate $ as they will buy the crappiest food out there (Ol Roy) so they can buy in bulk.

i will not buy their crappy food. i ... DO DONATE.. money at the pet stores in my area, they have donation boxes set up for the no-kill shelters in my area !!! i do not buy that..food { oh how i hate that crap..i do not even want to call it food..} to support my local shelters. if anyone needs this info. your local shelters can always use stamps, bleach, and dog supplies { shampoos, collars, leashes, and toys }. if you donate items like that they are grateful !!!!

  • its very good and my pup like it .but my pup have hair fall when she eat them.
