Someone PLEASE tell me if this is free vista for microsoft windows?!!?

It is a free service pack for those who have Vista installed, in the same way as you got service packs periodically for the XP operating system. It is not THE operating system itself, just addition/improvements to it. So you only download and instal (which takes a long time) if you have Vista.

SP1 stands for SERVICE PACK 1. Its like, a system update of important stuff for people already running windows vista. It won't help you unless you have windows vista as your Operating System right now. Your first download link is NOT free windows vista. It is a language pack for it, so people that don't speak english can use it (imagine everything in spanish)

vista sp1 is a service pack for vista not a standalone program.it contains all the security updates and all the hotfixes from the day of vista release.it also has some addons to improve vista performance so it is well worth installing. its too big to send through automatic updates so you have to download it yourself but in future you will have to have it as all new updates will be for vista sp1

Microsoft Office is not available for free download legally. You would have to find an illegal torrent or use someone elses discs. I use the program OpenOffice. It is just as good as Microsoft office, and it is freeware. All of the files are compatible with MS office and it has all of the same functions and features and a smaller file size.
