    I've had a '93 Sunbird since '99. These cars have a reputation for going through radiators. Take this car to a radiator shop now, and get it checked out. It may need to be rodded out or recored. Recoring is going to cost over $200, but that is a lot cheaper than the $1200 or so that it will cost to replace the head if you crack it.

    If you are having to add antifreeze every couple of days and the engine runs rough when you start it, then the the head is already cracked and antifreeze is leaking into the cylinders.

    If the check engine light hasn't come on then you're probably ok, but you better get that radiator fixed.

    Had one last year and did a rebuild on the upper half well guess what?The manufacturer made the head gasket opening for the circulation of water way..to small.So this is what to dew..

    Drain the radiator and replace with water and drive it around the city dew'n high and low speeds with the HEATER ON so it will circulate much better.Then go home and Drain it again.I would repeat this process again twice to make sure theres no brown water coming out of the radiator.Refill it with clean antifreeze the cheap stuff,because the other Dexcool is not cool...lol.The Heater cores in these cars get plugged often so dew this every 2years.

    check to see if the water pump is working. Usually they make a whining or clattering noise when they go out, but not always. Feel your radiator hoses to see if the top and bottom hoses are close to the same temperature. If you have a radiator cap, remove it and start the car and watch for water flow. Watch the temp gage and listen for thermostat to engage, could be faulty. Even if new. Make sure fans engage properly, usually at 225 , and disengages around 210.

    if it is a 4 cyl then it sounds like head gasket if it is a 6cyl then intake gasket.

    could it be your system needs to be bled ,or your radiator could hold fluid just fine but radiator may be possibly plugged.
