How to turn on the hibernation in Windows Vista?

I had XP but my new computer came with Vista and hibernation is turned off by default. Can you give me step by step instructions where to go and how to activate it please?

Update:

Hibernation is NOT the same as sleep.

My problem is I don't see any options for hibernation in the Power Options. Anywhere!

You can manually re-enable the Hibernate option via command prompt using these instructions:

    Click the Start button.

    Select All Programs > Accessories

Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator .

At the command prompt enter powercfg -h ON.

    Close the command prompt window.

Click the start orb (start button)

    Control panel

Easiest way to view this is click on classic view (in left side menu)

    Power settings.

Enable hibernation should be in one of those tabs. Just click it to enable it.
