I was nominated into "Who's Who in Illinois" 1993 for being the employee of the month at a Credit Union during the same year they were named Credit Union of the year across the US. Got my name and picture in the newspaper for that one too.

I would guess that I am over the "fifteen minutes" threshold mentioned by Warhol, I have been on the evening news 3 times benefitting tent city 3, 4 times regarding tent city 4, my face has been on the front page of the King County Journal 4 times(TC4 again); I was on the front page of the B section of the San Francisco Chronicle in 89, and I had a half seconds air time on a nationally broadcast drama show in 89 entitled Midnight Caller.

Yes - 2nd hand. I'm married to the guy who designed the compaction simulator for Smith Kleine Beecham which enabled the production of the first Viagra tablets.

First hand - I own the boat to which Inland Waterwways awarded a trophy called "The Marion Munk Trophy" in 2001 for the best privately owned canal pleasure boat, and the following year they awarded her another trophy called The Calor Rose Bowl, for the best galley (which I designed!). She had her piccy in the waterway mags both times.

yep twice which makes it 30 mins............. 1 time i was at a track meet and was running the 2400 and got 1st place when i was behind in last place then once i got 2 the 2nd to last lap and i hit the 200 mark and got an energy boost then just started speeding up and started making my way threw the group and everybody was yelling and screaming 4 me and soon it was the last lap i got to the 100 mark i wsa in a tie with 3 people it was neck and neck and then we were half way i just killed myself and started speeding up makin smoke and i got in 1st!!!!!!!

same with the 2nd time at a differnt track meet but this 1 was on TV

yup, but then again depends on what you mean by 15 minutes of fame. if it means lots of ppl know about it, then yeah i've had several of them and plan on having many more. each moment special in it's own right.
