How can I break my iPod so I can get a new one before my warranty is up?

I have a warranty for my iPod (from BestBuy) that expires soon and I paid a lot for it and I was wondering if there was a way to break it without showing that I did it myself. My warranty only covers normal wear and tear, heat and dust damage, and I think just like internal damage or something. I really want to either get a new one, or get store credit. So I was hoping that there was a way to break it and make it look like it was a malfunction out of my control, all ideas are appreciated. Thank You! =)

Update:

I don't know if I should drop it in water because my warranty says that it doesn't cover water damage.

Also, Vae_Vict... I'm too young to have a job, and besides, if you don't want to help me, then don't answer my question!

Just take it back to bestbuy and lie to them, just say it doesnt function well couple of times, freezes alot and other stuff they should replace it if your still under warranty

There is really no way to do that. They're engineered to make this virtually impossible. They know that people try to do that and they designed the iPod to make it hard to do.

You don't. Get a job and buy a new one if you want a new one.
