A4 cabrios can be either all wheel drive (Quattro) or front wheel drive depending on the options selected. Engines range from the 1.8-2.0L turbo 4 cylinder to the 3.0-3.2 L V-6. Engine size depends on model year. The high end model is the V-6 Quattro. The quattro is a better all season car but the tradeoff is lower MPG. I wouldn't look at anything older than a 2004 and would go with the V-6 as the engine has a better reliability record than the 4. Expect to pay from $22K up to the mid-$30K range depending on age, mileage and equipment.
