I have an EFC score of 2599. What does this mean?

I am also a veteran. So my parents information would not count. So why is it that apparently from the information I provided is tellig me that my efc score is 2599. And does that mean that my parents are expected to kick in $2,599 a year for my schooling?

If you filed as an independent then it's expected that you--not your parents--will contribute at least that much money (but probably more). If you filed as a dependent and included your parent's tax information there is no expectation for them to pay that amount, it's just the government saying that with their income they can afford to contribute that amount.
