A video actually diminishes the imagination by foregoing the need to imagine those thousand words for a still picture, whether painted or photographed.
When a couple looks at their wedding album the photos invoke memory activation and imagination to recall the scenes around them at the time and both the husband and the bride will have different sense memories of what was actually going on at the moment the photo was snapped whereas a video will present each with the harsh reality of what was really going on at the time and stifle the "romance" associated with the image in the mind of that particular moment in time.
I conclude, therefore, that video is counter-productive to happy and imaginative memories or ideas of what could be...
