Kobe Bryant may be the best player in the league. At one time Grant Hill was an all-star. I'm sure there are others too.
I would take the rich kid. For one when a poor person runs into a lot of money they often don't know how to handle it. How many pro athletes have fallen apart after making some big bucks? Next "you can take the inner city kid out of the city, but you can't take the city out of him." That means an inner city kid may be more likely to have or want to be involved with some negative activities, like gangs and drugs. Lastly a rich kid becomes a pro because he wants to. An inner city kid may feel that that's his only chance.

Stephen Curry's dad might be "rich", but you can't question Stephen's "hunger" or his game. Curry can flat out play. Stephen Curry led DAVIDSON to the Elite 8 over plenty of "hungry inner city kids". That should tell you something about Stephen Curry's "hunger".
Money or Stephen's DAD had NOTHING to do with Stephen just destroying opposing teams in the 2nd half of all the tournament games before ultimately losing to a #1 seed in Kansas in the Elite 8.

Not from what you are writing here but I have to wonder what you are not writing. Gucci has a clothing sale but that does not make the clothing cheap. Some wines can cost up to thousands of dollars per bottle and some food cost a fortune as well. Your allowance is a bit low for some. I know one man who gives his sons 120 a week and one of those drives and works at a job the father got him and in a car the father purchased. He knows his children are spoiled but he does not plan on taking his money with him. You are probably not spoiled but you must have something that other people are envious of or else they would not tease you so. Compare your life to that of others and see what you think.

Only an inner city kid would care. Don't be vauge. It's okay to say Kobe. Truth is most people who have a stake in this world don't care about where an NBA prospect comes from; only if the kid can help them win. One advantage the spoiled rich kid has is that he's not weighted down by an imaginary chip on his shoulder.

I'll take a spoiled rich kid with skills any day. The boy has a sweet stroke. Why wouldn't you want that over some street baller with "potential." Just ask Darius Miles how far potential will get you in the NBA.

Kobe's dad played in the NBA, were people calling him a spoiled rich kid?

He may have money, but maybe his dad keeps him hungry (figuratively) by making him earn it. I think he showed that to be the case with his play. And from what I saw, the way he embarrassed my favorite team (the Badgers) , I sure as heck would pick him in the top 10.

If you don't think Stephen Curry is hungry then you obviously didnt see him play in this year's tournament.
