Shouldn't Yahoo answers move the Religion and Spirituality section further away from the LGBT one?
the pet's section isn't in the hunting section, the automobile section isn't in the envionment section.
I'm sick of them coming over here and waving their perverted lifestyles in our faces. If they want to spread their unnatural hatered cult all over the world in their weekly christian pride meetings that's their buisness, so long as it's behind closed doors of course.
thanks stephanie, I won't though, just to be honest with you petal.
deadx as far as I'm aware we no longer live in ancient greece, and for the most part all main religions do not respect homosexuality... but the point is it's really none of their business to come here and insult us in the first place.
Marq, that's a great idea.
I always try to give thumbsup as much as possible, though I never know whether to answer the christian trolls back or not. I think the guy Michael B with the rainbow cross does an excellent job.
and the newbies, when they get trolled, it's really annoying and harmful.

I think we need to do more to support our own board:
- Giving 'approval' to every one of our posts (at least, those with which we agree)
- Reporting every single instance of abuse from the fundagelicals when they come over here to spew
- Making sure there are answers to newcomers' questions, even if we've seen the same type of question 500 times before. Remember: to the GLBT who is coming out, THEY are asking "is it OK to be gay/bi/trans" for the FIRST TIME.
- Making sure we have a team of GLBT Christians/Jews/Muslims on OUR side who can respond to legitimate questions from straight Christians about how we reconcile our faith with our orientation.
I would LOVE to see us organized to the point where we giving support to all newcomers, providing first response to legitimate questions, making sure questions were answered and reporting trolls.

Well, considering both homosexuality and religion are both a part of society and culture, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to put the two so they are separate.
However, I'm quite sure you're aware of a little thing called the mouse and you can actually use this to click on whatever you'd like on your computer to get wherever you need to online (what a nifty idea! free will and the ability to view what you do or don't find offensive!) I don't like sports, so, lo and behold, I don't click on the sports questions. Nor am I a big fan of hunting...guess what? I don't bother with those questions either. I would say stop telling everyone else what they need to do (or not do) and focus on your own actions...you can only change your own actions, way of thinking, and opinions, after all. Allow others to live in happy harmony the way they want as long as it isn't harming anyone else (no matter what you may think based on your religious views) and stop putting so much negativity in the world. Didn't your Lord and Savior say to love your fellow man, anyway? Start practicing that and stop hating.

A good amount of respectable religions condone/praise homosexuality
Show how ignorant you are...

being gay is wrong because of one person beliefs
because the real bible is lost in translation

I don't really think it matters since the religious haters probably have this section bookmarked anyways.

it's so stupid, we don't push our ideals on them. If they want to belive in something we don't, we don't tell them off!
