Is there a connection between being gay and being molested by a same-sex adult as a child?

In my experience....no. I have never been molested by someone of the same sex and to my knowledge, none of my homosexual friends have either. I am sure that some people have that sort of history in their past, but I don't think that their homosexuality is dependent on that factor : )

I think you're right. I was never molested by anyone, and I turned out to be a normal, natural lesbian. We know that the vast majority of pedophiles are heterosexual, that is a documented fact. So I think you're onto something here..... how do we get a research grant for this study? Where are our socio-science geeks?

I was molested by a older male friends father when I was twelve, and I have no inclinations towards men. although someone that is molested at a younger developmental age may be affected differently. it always varies depending on circumstances.

NO it can't mean your gay because my sis was molested at the age of 12 and she was already developed so she ended up pregnant by her step dad she never turned bi or lez cuz of it. seriously she ended up wanting to screw everyguy she can that she likes.

Being molested is a hard thing to deal with but it won't turn you gay it confuses you and maybe it wasn't him with the porn on the computer it could be someone else in the family maybe a guy or girl in the household.

Well, NO, being molested doesn't make a person gay, but it can definitely leave one CONFUSED, especially if it happens when you're really young and you don't have anyone to talk to about it. My Ex-Step-Dad is a really good example of this.

I think so.... 2 of my 3 gay friends were molested or had some kind of accident like that when they were little... and i ve know of many other cases of ppl that turn to be like that.. so ill say yes

Yes , and they are messed up in the head because they only think they are gay and they are not. Causes lots of problems.
