Can I put up a curtain rail with "No More Nails"?
I have just moved into a new house and dont really want to be drilling etc, so I was wondering if "No More Nails" glue will hold up a curtain rail? One of those plastic rail type ones. Will be hanging normal type curtains - not heavy or anything.
I should probably ad that the wall is a painted surface and the rail will be plastic.
A painted plasterboard type thing - not brick!
OK - and if No More Nails is rubbish - is there anything else I can use - except for drilling holes and screwing it on to the wall??

no it will not support the weight of the curtains. you will need to use anchor wall set ups

You need to fix a batten (probably 3X1) to the wall first. Offer the batten to the wall and draw round it, cut along the pencil lines with a sharp knife, scrape out the paint between the lines. Use a product called plastic padding to fix the batten to the wall, leave it to set, then screw the curtain rail to the batten. I don't think " no more nails" is strong enough.

Put the plank up again but use very long screws and raw plugs to fix it. They should be long enough to go through the plaster (which is usually quite thin) and bed well into the walls/brick. You can even put a bit of filler in the hole too before you put your screw in to give it additional strength. If you have a modern house with plasterboard walls you can buy some special butterfly rawplugs that open up at the other side of the plasterboard. Best of luck!

No More Nails (or, better, there's a trade version whose name I can't recall) will PROBABLY do it (certainly you'd need to take the paint off first) but if it does you'll never get it off again.
I'd use screws, if you're uncertain of your drilling skills get an expert to help. When or if you want to move things later you can always fill & sand the screwholes.

Glue a batten to the wall using the adhesive,
then attach your curtain rail to that. Easy.
