Have you ever heard the expression...?
Have you ever heard the expression, "Courage doesn't mean that you're not scared. Courage is when you're scared and do it anyway."?
I've heard that bit in, I don't even know how many movies. So at what point does being courageous cross over into being crazy?

Yes I have heard the expression and personally I feel courage will be an act of heroism and a lot of the time the courageous person won't have time to decide whether it is 'crazy' or not. It is only later that the feeling that it was 'crazy' to have acted in such a way may set in.
Good Question

The difference between being courageous and crazy is the reason you're doing what your doing. Being scared of dying and jumping off a cliff is crazy. Being scared of dying and fighting in a war you believe in is courageous.

I don't remember hearing it, but I agree with it.
You cross over into crazy when the risks are greater than the possible gain, or if there is no reason to do something and you do it anyway to show you have courage.

I have the courage to become crazy so I can cross over :)

i guess it's crazy when it serves no purpose to be courageous...i mean courage is a positive trait...which brings out the best in a person..nd makes him do things that benefit him/those around him...while being crazy is...well just that--lunatic! :)

l've heard that alot too. l think that it doesn't. lf you really have to do it and you're scared to - that would put a stop to any craziness. lf you do it anyway, you've weighed it up and realise that it has to be done, then it's not crazy, it's incredibly brave. Good question by the way - it made me think.

No, I haven't heard that before. But I like it. I'm sure it crosses over when you do something that becomes life threatening, but you're doing it to show prove someone wrong...or show them up.

It becomes crazy, when you are already 3 hours late coming home from the pub & you phone the other half & tell her you'll be another couple of hours...lol

like.....
if you do things that are STUPID....then you are crazy
courageous means doing something tha might be dangerous but for a reason, ...like to help someone else, to do a good deed....etc
but if you do things that are dangerous just for the heck of it...then you are insane
I hope this helped!!!
