Hooking up a computer to a 52" hd tv set..............?
I will be buying a new hp computer. It has graphics card with dvi output. If I input it into my HD tv (52") will i get a sharp, clear picture like when I watch an hd TV Show? It is a Pavillion m9150f desktop w/
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT graphics and 256MB dedicated video memory?
Thanks

We have our computer hooked up to a Pioneer 42" flat screen using a DVI cable and it looks great... but we also have a remote that zooms (because the text can be hard to read from the couch when you get into higher resolution). I'd also recommend a wireless keyboard and mouse if you don't have one (I know that's probably a given).
Plus, if you have or get a netflix membership, you can watch the "Watch it Now" movies instantly in full size.
Also, I'm not very knowledgeable about graphics card sizes, but we had to get a new one bc of the larger screen (it only makes a difference when you're playing a game w/high graphics demand.). for best picture, when playing games or hd movies and video, a 512 mb ddr2 or ddr3 card is recommended. However, the card you've got now should suffice for the moment.
