Pro: Noble ideals. Con: Didn't work.

Pros: Brings structure. Unified under one ruler. Can be very efficient under a good ruler. Everybody is equal, in the economy, not the government, except for "special chosen" people.
Cons: Not equal say in government. Can be disastrous under a reckless ruler. Chance of common people trying to strike. Government controls EVERYTHING, leaving the common people with no power.
