    Paperbacks I don't want to take care of bent corners on hard covers.

    I like the soft cover aka paperback books better then the hardcover books simply because they have more flexibility then hardcover books do meaning that I can bend them unike hardcover books.

    hard cover for the bookshelf(looks nicer).

    They have their pros and cons....paperbacks are more portable and easier to read at times...but hard covers look so nice on your bookshelf and have great wear and tear...
