Want to buy a new 2008 Harley Rocker Bike, how do I when have bad credit?
My credit with Eaglemark is not good which is the Harley-Davidson bank for credit purchase.
Not own any trailer or property worth much.

If you have defaulted or have a poor history with Eaglemark, it will be tough to get them to spot you a loan.
If you credit itself is poor, but you have no history with Eaglemark, try going through the process. The economy in general is slow, which means bike sales are slow. They may float you a loan, but be prepared to pay a high (like 23%) interest rate. You'll probably also have to show them a recent pay stub to prove that you can afford it.
You may want to consider a less expensive or used bike to better your chances of getting financed and you'll probably need to drop at least a 10% down payment.

Today - you'll need more than $300 for a bike shop bike. To answer the question... To the novice, you may NOT notice the difference between a $100 Wally World special & a $500 or $1,000 bike from a real bike shop right away. And that's a shame. I see many glowing reviews on discount store web sites for these cheap bikes. Most people will write a review either the same day or shortly after buying a cheap bike. I'd like to go back a year later & see what they think of that same bike if it's ridden on a daily or almost daily basis. That's when problems arise. That cheap single walled rim (rear wheel) with a freewheel hub may start popping spokes left & right - especially with an over-weight person. The cheap derailleurs start skipping gears & not shifting properly - sometimes just because of a stretched cable - sometimes because the derailleur itself is shot in less than a year. Saddles or seats? Most discount store bikes come with terrible saddles. Then they sell those Bell Gel saddle replacements which are even worse. To a person that only rides once or twice a month, a discount store bike may be OK. For those of us who ride daily...you couldn't GIVE me a discount store bike. In short - you get what you pay for. Compare it to buying a small car. Which would you really rather have...a Chevy Cobalt or a 3 series BMW?

Contact Barnett Harley in El Paso Texas or Las Cruces. They will sell you an overpriced bike at an insane interest rate, then repo it if you miss a payment. That's how they got to be the biggest dealer. They finance anybody.

here's an idea..............take that extra money you'd be paying on a new Harley, and use it to pay off all your other debts!!! Then, your credit will improve, just by not having past due account balances. It's crazy, I know....but for some reason, creditors seem to respond well when you pay them the money you owe to them, and vowed to pay by signing some form of contract stating such!!!

Put a second mortgage on your trailer and use the money to just pay cash.

Then save your money and pay cash.

Dude... If your credit is bad, then your only option is to pay cash. How you get it is your problem...

if you're behind on payments, then buying a bike will make your situation worse
